The quick answer
Pack fewer pieces, separate chains, secure earring pairs and keep valuable items in your personal bag. A compact organiser with dedicated sections is easier than one large open pouch.
Edit the jewellery before you pack it
Choose pieces that work with more than one outfit. A small pair of hoops, one statement option, a simple necklace and a few rings can cover most trips. Packing fewer pieces makes organisation easier and reduces the risk of losing something.
Keep necklace chains separated
Fasten each necklace before packing and use individual loops, slots or small pouches. Thin chains tangle most when they are left loose together. If your organiser has no necklace hooks, thread each chain through a drinking straw or wrap it flat in soft fabric.
Keep valuable pieces in your personal item
Do not place valuable jewellery in checked luggage. Keep it in a zipped section of the bag that stays with you. Take a quick photo of what you packed so you can check everything before leaving the hotel.
